Q: how airplanes work?

  1. A: lala88's Answer Is

Airplanes fly because of their wings. When the wings travel through the air, the air on the top end of the wing travels faster than the air on the bottom. This creates low pressure on top and high on the bottom.

Low pressure creates vacuum and lifts the wings up. The wing is strong enough to support the body (fuselage), so the whole thing goes up!

    (Everything above is bernoulli’s principle)

Slats and flaps change the shape of the wing, making it more curved or straight, depending on the situation.

Straight wings = less drag = more fuel efficiency, good for cruising

Curved wings = more lift = ideal for taking off and landing.

    Is That Answer Correct?
