Attaching a collar around your pup’s neck is not a good idea. The collar will pull so hard that the pooch will not be able to breathe. If the pooch constantly pools the leash, they will injure their neck and trachea.  What you should do is use a harness and here is why.
  • Allowing your puppy to breathe without difficulty. You don’t have to worry about things like the piece of equipment cutting into the dog’s throat or coughing. The equipment does not restrict breathing in any way.
  • Teaching your dog how to walk properly. It is the best tool when it comes to correcting a pup’s walk, positioning them naturally at your side. All you have to do is let your pooch get used to the equipment and start walking your dog. You will run into some issues along the way, but you will be able to handle them. Teach your hound how to walk properly with a harness.
  • A secure fit. Dogs that don’t like any kind of restraint. As a matter of fact, it makes them crazy. If your pup is difficult, you need to think about getting a getting them a fleece harness. This kind of equipment fits properly and keeps your dog safe.

How to choose a dog harness

You need to consider size and fit when buying a fleece harness for your best buddy. You have to think about the fit. Sure, there are different styles of gear for controlling an animal, but not all of them will ensure an automatic fit. Get the size right if you don’t want your pooch to suffer. Also, talk to your veterinarian. To harness or not to harness? You should definitely harness.
